You get a pencil, you put it to paper…and then…I don’t, magic or some shit. Maybe you pray to an art god or something? Maybe there are like, thousand of different gods and artists have to pick a deity to pray too and study under or something. And you have to be really careful about what god to pick and their current moods or thoughts, otherwise you’ll end up, after aiming for something really cute and sweet involving your favourite pairing, getting really sketchy porn which has caused all the non-artists to mock and laugh at you, whilst all the other artists shake their head in pity for your misfortune and resolute to train harder so as never to fall victim to the NSFW gods.

First, you should know what this is all about.

I first heard of Cystic Fibrosis around half a year ago, when I found out that one of my best friends had it. I had known that she had some health problems, but I never knew what it was, with a name finally put to the illness I didn’t want to go further. It was her problem, and if she wanted to tell me then she would. 

Now I know a little about it. And symptoms are being put to the disease. Basically what happens is there’s something wrong in your genes and mucus builds up in your lungs, not to mention the mucus stops the natural enzymes your body produces from working. Most are diagnosed at the age of two.

So I’m doing this walk with her to raise money to find a cure, but the fact is donations have slowed, and the stress of this is really taking its toll on her. I want to raise as much as I can so that I can help find a cure.

It may be selfish, but I don’t want to lose my friend anytime soon.

So I’m just here to ask that you pass this message along, and donate as much as you can. Even a dollar or two can help.

Even if you have no money to spare, you can pass the message along.

So please, I’ve seen Tumblr work it’s magic before, and I’m hoping that it can work it now. Because every dollar we get is a dollar more towards helping my friend, and others like her, to have a little longer to live.

One day, hopefully, it will save a life.
